Japan IT Security 2015-2019 Forecast and 2014 Analysis
This IDC study analyzes the performance of the Japan IT security market in 2014 and presents the market forecast from 2015 to 2019.
Security incidents caused by increasingly advanced attacks that target specific companies and organizations (such as using advanced malware that targets unknown vulnerabilities or custom malware developed for specific systems) and hold latent security threats can have a lethal effect on company activity when they come to the surface. Such cases are on the rise. "Security vendors must appeal using existing anti-malware measures that use traditional signature-based external-threat measures, advanced anti-malware measures that use non-signature-based external-threat countering products, and multilayer solutions that interactively link these external-threat countering products with security intelligence. This should allow user companies to continuously and systematically enhance their security, implement quick protective measures, and reduce the burden of operation management," says Tsuneo Tosaka, software and security research manager, IDC Japan.
