Japan Enterprise Mobility Market User Survey 2015

Japan Enterprise Mobility Market User Survey 2015

In this study, we summarize and analyze the results of an IDC survey on the use of enterprise mobility solutions, the future plans of user companies, and how they make decisions. The survey respondents were employees in positions to establish/approve IT strategies or involved in implementing/developing information systems. "The objectives of user companies in using mobility solutions are diverse but those that link directly to business performance are easier to evaluate quantitatively. Because of this, they are more readily recognized by management teams, and budgets are more likely to be deployed to these areas in future. As the number of mobility projects led by business departments increases in future, it is natural that spending committed to direct business enhancement (over and above employee productivity improvement and work style changes) will be more earnestly pursued," says Ko Shikita, group manager, PC, Mobile Terminals & Client Solutions, IDC Japan.
