Converged System Trends and the Implications

Converged System Trends and the Implications

This IDC study provides trends, the size of the converge system market in 2015, and vendor share of top vendors, with historical revenue data for Asia/Pacific excluding Japan (APEJ). The regional revenue for the converged infrastructure market was US$1 billion in 2015, representing a decline of 4.2% over 2014. The decline was shown in both Greater China and Australia/Zealand (ANZ). GRC was mainly impacted by the economy and political challenges especially in Taiwan and People's Republic of China (PRC) during the period. In contrast, ANZ is considered to have a mature adoption compared with other subregions. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states, South Korea, India, and the rest of Asia/Pacific (ROAP) enjoyed good growth and adoption during 2015. This study also assesses surveys conducted in both 2014 and 2015 to understand the readiness of enterprise customers on converge system adoption. Furthermore, the advice and insights provided in this study will help technology suppliers target the right audience and shape their marketing plan.
