CEMA Manufacturers Utilizing Technology to the Max: A Follow-Up to IDC's Worldwide Manufacturing Sector 2015 IT Predictions

In December 2014, the worldwide IDC Manufacturing Insights team presented an outlook for 2015 and beyond. The 10 decision imperatives presented in the original document were built on a foundation comprising seven key drivers of the manufacturing sector over the last decade. In this IDC Manufacturing Insights Perspective, we localize the worldwide framework and provide additional insights for decision makers of related technology initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (CEMA). Specifically, we have identified and assessed three comparatively weak drivers forming the foundation, as we think it is very important to understand local differences related to those drivers in order to accurately apply and leverage the decision imperatives outlined in this document.
