Property Management Services Procurement in the US
This report is intended to assist buyers of property management services. Property owners often procure these services in order to transfer the management of a real estate property, whether nonresidential or residential, to a third party. The chief responsibility of an operator is to represent the property owner when interfacing with tenants of the property, particularly for the collection of rent. Property owners may delegate additional tasks to the operator, including the payment of necessary expenses and taxes, property maintenance and cleaning, securing the building and leasing vacant units. This report does not include facilities management services or real estate asset management and consulting services.
