Online Photo Printing in the US - Industry Market Research Report

Online Photo Printing

The Online Photo Printing industry is benefiting from a continuing consumer shift toward photo sharing. Over the past five years to 2017, social networks and links to other photo sharing sites encouraged consumers to store and print pictures through online channels. Increasing purchasing costs and promotions have resulted in overall decreased profit margins over the past five years. In addition, the industry's increased use of mechanical processes caused depreciation costs to rise. Over the next five years to 2022, technological advancements will continue to prop up industry expansion. Rising internet and mobile access will enable more consumers to print photos online, and industry marketing will attract consumers through social media and mobile applications.

This industry offers photo printing services online. It does not include printing services within brick-and-mortar stores like Target and CVS. Online photo printing is not the same as digital photo printing, but rather is a subset as they must be in digital form for customers to order online. Digital photos could be printed within a physical store, however, it would not be included in this industry. Further, commercial online printing services are excluded from this industry.

This report covers the scope, size, disposition and growth of the industry including the key sensitivities and success factors. Also included are five year industry forecasts, growth rates and an analysis of the industry key players and their market shares.
