These retailers carry specially designed, lower-priced pieces for a limited time, capturing a demographic that is younger and more price conscious. In addition, demand from other clothing and accessories stores has also increased over the past five years. Consequently, over the five years to 2019, industry revenue is expected to grow. Over the five years to 2024, industry revenue is anticipated to continue growing.
This industry comprises establishments that provide professional design services for such products and segments as fashion, clothing, shoes, textiles, fur, jewelry, costumes, lighting and floats. These services occasionally represent the design branch of a large retail chain, but they more often represent smaller design houses that provide fashion products to several different sellers. This industry does not include in-house design services.
