Energy drinks sales were maintained by younger consumers attracted by various international players marketing campaigns, whereas enhanced water volume was sustained by health conscious consumers. Excise tax increases had a further negative impact on alcoholic beverages and thereafter suffered a 4% decline. The dairy segment was also hit by increasing prices and saw a drop.
