The company’s areas of operations are based primarily in Canada, where it has interests in the Onion Lake Heavy Oil Project in Saskatchewan, the Blackrod Steam-Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) project, the Mooney Heavy Oil project, and the Jake Lake Heavy Oil project in Alberta. In the US, BlackPearl possesses interest in the Sam Miguel Heavy Oil Project in the Maverick Basin in South Texas. The company also has several other interests in the US, although its properties in the country are immaterial to the company’s current operations. The company’s production portfolio consists of production from conventional and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) projects. It is also developing oil projects that will utilize SAGD methods of extraction. BlackPearl’s headquarters are located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
