Smartband – A band worn on the wrist that may or may not have a screen and can be used to control a device, play music, or record physical data for fitness and other purposes. Also includes activity trackers.
Smartwatch – Watch which incorporates a watch operating system which allows it to download or utilize applications. Smart watches can also connect and control information with smartphones via bluetooth. They may also have built in cellular capabilities to function as an independent smart device for apps music, and other applications.
Smartcamera – A camera with built-in sensors and information gathering capabilities which enables the device to capture data and interact with applications or preset functionality in order to make decisions based on the captured image and coresponding data.
Smartglasses – Wearable glasses which incorporate camera technology with internet connected computing capabilities and applications. Smart glasses often use heads up display technology or virtual reality to process information based on what the wearer is looking at while wearing the glasses or by the wearer issuing voice commands.
Smartclothing – Clothing which is designed for or incorporates the use of sensors, small computers, or other electronics to be embedded into the fabric in order to gather data or improve performance of the wearer.
