Seeing into the Future: New Opportunities on the Horizon for Smart Eyewear
The eyewear industry can be a complex market as consumers have various discriminating needs.
Frost & Sullivan attended the International CES and noted how consumers are increasingly
flooded with technology as they build data ecosystems around themselves and their homes.
The wearable market is predominately saturated with activity trackers, but within four years,
Frost & Sullivan believes that smart eyewear and watches could be growing at far higher rates.
While the data being collected is useful, the end goal will be to cohesively integrate
devices, services and experiences to better serve health and wellness goals. Industry leaders
understand consumers and their corresponding needs, resulting in higher levels of product
adoption outside of the typical wearable user.
