At a recent communications service provider (CSP) executive summit, representatives from several North American CSPs expressed their concerns about unforeseen consequences slowing down their organization’s use of new technologies such as 4G LTE, NFV, and SDN.2 Their additional concerns, with the same root cause, involved services with partner-provided inputs designed to enhance the customer experience.
