This report forecasts US nonresidential building construction expenditures in nominal and real (inflation-adjusted) US dollars to 2020. Total expenditures are segmented by market in terms of: education, industrial, commercial, office, healthcare, lodging, transportation, religious, and other markets. Nonresidential building stock in real US dollars and nonresidential building floor space in square feet are also provided to 2020 and segmented by market as follows: office and commercial, institutional, industrial, and other markets.
