Mexico in 2030: The Future Demographic
In 2030, the population of Mexico will reach 148 million, an increase of 16.6% from 2015. Mexico’s population growth, although positive, will be slowing down over this period due to declining births and increasing deaths as well as continuing negative net migration. Although the country will age rapidly over this period, it will remain younger by median age than the regional average in 2030. Mexico will be the ninth largest country in the world in 2030.
