Much is being said about innovation. Today, its impacts seem to be everywhere, from the corner shop to the multinational company, from newspapers to publicity campaigns, at sports events, on the street, and in pub-talk, everything seems to revolve around innovation. It has become a buzzword. However, while innovation often appears to be all around us, many examples of what may be thought of as innovation are merely based on the widespread belief that if something is new, it is innovation.
