With the theme “Progressive Aerospace Research”, this latest conference attracted presenters, researchers and participants from several countries; among them Algeria, Libya, Australia, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, India, Pakistan, United Kingdom, Turkey, Singapore, United States of America, Russia, Egypt, Spain, and France. AEROTECH V Conference 2014 covered aerospace design, flight and system performances, space systems, aerospace management and operation, and also aerospace related topics. There were 125 papers received, but only 90 of which were accepted for the conference following an extensive review process by two experts in the relevant field. From these accepted papers, only nine papers have been selected for publication in this AEAT special issue.
