As the economy in Slovenia began to recover, 2016 is anticipated to be a year of growth. Beer occupied the largest market share against other beverages; standing at 74% in 2015, its growth was mainly driven by the rise in popularity of craft beer, the increased range of imported beers, the hot weather conditions. In recent years consumers have been more open to trying new brands and flavors, leading to the increased popularity of beer. Beer consumption saw decent growth and increased by 6% in 2015. Increased willingness to taste new beers, continuous marketing campaigns and promotional discounts will remain key factors for growth of the beer market in Slovenia.

Key Findings
