Summary
A positive economic outlook combined with warm temperatures saw better consumer moods, and an increased consumer spend. These factors helped all commercial beverages to increase by 2% compared to 2014, with on-premise sales gaining in particular. Private Label products struggled to compete with branded price promotions leading them to perform below average in packaged water, beer and juice; however they were able to perform above average in iced/rtd, sports and energy drinks by introducing multi-serve PET bottles.
