We believe that New Zealand’s food and drink sector will offer healthy growth potential throughout our forecast periodto 2022, despite being one of the smallest markets in the region. Household income is forecast to increase steadily and this will notonly result in greater spending, but facilitate a gradual shift towards healthier food and drink products. We also expect increasinglevels of premiumisation, particularly within the alcoholic drinks segments, and this will also help boost sales figures.
