Key View:
Thailand's saturated mobile market will be an impediment to long-term organic growth, and this is forcing operators toinstead look at migrating subscribers to advanced LTE networks in order to sell premium data services. The allocation of 5Gspectrum, slated for 2020 will not lead to an immediate launch of services; instead, operators will focus on monetising theirLTE networks further in order to recoup costly investments into both infrastructure and 4G spectrum. Wireline voice connections arein constant decline, although the wireline broadband market will see growth as ISPs commit to fibrerisation.
