Thailand's consumer electronics market is emerging from a multiyear US dollar spendingcontraction in 2017. The return to growth is expected to be sustained over the medium term. Earlierexpansionary periods have relied to a great extent on device volume growth, but with saturationapproaching and form factor cannibalisation trends, we expect future growth will rely more on a larger andaffluent middle class looking to upgrade to higher specification and priced models.

AV Sales: USD1.4bn in 2017 to USD1.6bn in 2021, a CAGR of 3.3%. TV set and home audio devicespending are the key drivers of segment performance, while smartphone complementary headphones arealso a bright spot.
