This quarter we have further revised down our forecasts for consumer consumption for Sudan and South Sudan asdisruptions caused by the global Covid-19 outbreak continues. This notwithstanding, our long-term view for the two countriesremain largely in place this quarter. We expect Sudan to remain reliant on hydropower for the majority of its electricity supplythroughout our forecast period to 2029, with very little new power capacity coming online in the country. On the contrary, SouthSudan will remain almost entirely reliant on thermal power, with no hydroelectric power capacity in operation throughout the nextdecade. Due to the highly unstable political and economic environment, which in turn limits Sudan's limited capacity forinfrastructure spending, we expect sluggish power growth, largely driven by small- and medium-scale thermal and solar powerprojects.
