Sri Lanka's power generation mix will undergo a significant shift over the coming decade, as the government continuesto focus on reducing the country's reliance on hydropower. While once coal was the feedstock of choice, growing environmentalopposition has seen a growing emphasis on gas-fired power and renewable energy development. The share of gas in the power mixwill rise to nearly 20% in 2027. Conversely, we do not expect any new coal facilities to be built.
