Key View:
The telecommunications market in Slovenia is saturated with few organic growth prospects. Operators are succeedingin upselling converged services and bundles as a way of maintaining revenue growth. A1 is proving particularly successful in theconverged services field, building on its acquisition of Amis. Rival Telemach is also succeeding, consolidating its minor investmentsunder the parent company as well as acquiring small rural players. Telemach is slowly moving into premium services, which willthreaten A1 as well as incumbent Telekom Slovenije. All three players, along with T-2, are likely to bid aggressively for 5G spectrum inthe auction planned for 2020/21.
