Singapore Oil & Gas Report Q2 2018
Singapore will remain a major trading hub for crude oil, refined fuels and LNG over our 10-year forecast period, living upto its status as a global shipping and fuel re-export hub. Growing exports from increasingly sophisticated regional refiners, notablyChina, represent a key risk for domestic refiners, and will continue to incentivise upgrades and diversification into higher-valueproduct offerings, in order to remain competitive. The long-term outlook for LNG imports is positive, on account of favourablegovernment policy and Singapore's desire to become a regional LNG bunkering hub.
