Innovative solutions are being obstructed by Serbia's fragmented wireline market, and state-owned Telekom Srbija low-price consumers expectations. Some operators are trialing their 5G footprint and the regulator is preparing for the 5G spectrumauction, but the market remains heavily orientated towards lower cost services such as 4G with basic smartphone handsets. It is ourview that the mobile market will remain saturated and operators will face pressure in finding new services to sustain their revenuestreams. Serbia Broadband is now the focal point for consolidation and EU regulations are adopted, this will benefit the market butonly in the long-term.
