Strong growth in Serbian household consumption and fixed investment will persist throughout the second half of 2018.Private consumption will continue to grow on the back of falling unemployment and improving credit conditions in 2019, albeit at aslower pace. Food and drink spending in Serbia is subsequently likely to remain on a positive trajectory through our forecast periodto 2022. Foreign investors will continue to be attracted by the relatively fragmented nature of the country’s food and drink marketcombined with low operating costs.
