Rwanda Infrastructure Q1 2019
Our core assumptions for Romania's power sector remain largely unchanged, corroborated further by the country's new‘Energy Strategy to 2030 with a 2050 Perspective’ published for consultation in September 2018. Our longstanding view that fossilfuels will remain prevalent in the country's power mix is fully in line with the energy strategy, as it is our expectation that support tonew renewable capacity schemes will moderate. Yet, we note that our outlook for Romania's nuclear sector remains more cautiousthan that of the Government and we continue to refrain from including the planned new reactors at Cernavoda in our forecasts forthe Romanian power sector due to uncertainties over the time frame of their realisation.
