Qatar Retail Report Q2 2016

Qatar Retail Report Q2 2016

BMI View: Despite the recent oil and gas slump, Qatar's economy will remain relatively resilientthroughout our forecast period, from 2016-2020, with notable infrastructure projects, like the FIFA worldcup, providing important support. We believe this will bode well for the retail sector, which is continuing toexpand on the back of a growing population and rising income levels. The country's increasingly largechoice of modern retail space will also act to attract new entrants into the market.
