Qatar Oil & Gas Q2 2018

Qatar Oil & Gas Q2 2018

BMI View:

Qatar is projected to sustain its current levels of oil and gas production through to 2027. We expect the country toremain the largest LNG exporter in the world, although its dominance will be weakened by major liquefaction projects comingonline in the US and Australia. Qatar's plans to expand its LNG capacity from around 77mtpa currently to potentially 100mtpa couldnotably improve the outlook for the gas sector.
