Qatar Food & Drink Q1 2021
Key View:
With Qatar now in the final phase of reopening its economy, the outlook for food and drink spending in 2021 remainsrelatively bright, although growth rates for both food and non-alcoholic drinks are forecast to slow somewhat from thoseexperienced in 2020. It is hoped that a revival of international tourism will bode well for income growth, and by extension consumerspending on alcoholic drinks in particular, over 2021. The 2022 FIFA World Cup should also prove a boost for food and drinkspending in Qatar.
