There are numerous challenges facing producers of all commodities in Pakistan, chief amongthem the improving, yet still fragile, security situation, erratic power supply, lack of availability of financeand vulnerability to extreme weather events. More positivitycomes from favourable weather conditions for growth which have helped us upgrade our forecast forproduction and consumption across the crops we cover in this update.
