Food and drink spending will grow significantly on the back of a positive economic outlook, owing to rising oil prices androbust growth in the tourism sector. We expect to see increasing consumer spending on food and drink, which will drive investmentin the sector over our forecast period (2018-2022). Food spending will continue to contribute significantly to the consumer basket,followed by non-alcoholic drinks spending. Growth in the alcoholic drinks market will remain subdued with sales being supported bytourists and expat consumers.
