Norway Power Q1 2019
This quarter we have slightly revised up the forecast for wind power on the back of increased traction on projects.Thisnotwithstanding, we maintain our view that growth in Norway's power generation will be mostly stagnant over our 10-year forecastperiod due to the country having an excess in electricity output. While non-hydropower renewables will be the fastest-growingpower source, with new wind farms being brought online from 2018 to 2020, hydropower will remain the dominant source ofelectricity, making up more than 90% of total power output in the country. The development of regional interconnections willimprove Norway's electricity trading capacity.
