Norway Oil & Gas Q4 2020
Norwegian oil and gas production will see increases over the first half of our 10-year forecast period to 2029 thoughdecline is expected for the back half, as impacts from the two phases of Johan Sverdrup fail to make up for natural decline and thelack of new projects. Investor interest in upstream exploration remains robust, though structural declines look set to impact outputas new exploration continues to yield few large finds. Norway will maintain its role as an important hydrocarbon exporter over thecoming decade, though concerns about long-term growth remain. However, its push to lower carbon emissions may see it remain aworld leader in oil and gas technology.
