Norway Infrastructure Q1 2018

BMI View: Our outlook for Norway's construction sector is supported by a recovering hydrocarbons sector and policy continuity following the 2017 elections. The new National Transport Plan will boost investment across the country over the next decade. Residential construction has performed strongly, but we expect it to drag on headline growth over 2018 as the market cools. A transitioning economy will provide opportunities for construction and infrastructure, as will fixed investment on the back of a steadily improving oil price.
