2018 looks set to be a more positive year for Nigerian consumers than the previous 2015-2017 period, as economicgrowth picks up and inflation comes down. Owing to an improved economic outlook, consumer confidence is also improving,entering positive territory in the Q417. However, growth in consumption will be low compared to historical and regional standards,as unemployment remains high, causing consumers to behave more cautiously with their finances.
