Key View:
In 2020, we expect Dutch vehicle sales to weaken on the back of the Covid-19 pandemic and the movement restrictionsassociated with the virus. We also believe that economic uncertainty generated by the pandemic will see consumers shun non-essential goods such as cars, at least over the first half of the year. Furthermore, as commuters look to avoid public transportation,they will look for alternative personal transportation methods. This will likely benefit EVs, affordable motorcycles and micromobilitysolutions over PVs due to income and economic uncertainty.
