We forecast rail to grow by 4.9% in 2017, outperforming road (3.2%) and air (1.3%). This will see100.4mn, 551.3mn and 120,000 tonnes respectively transported by the end of the year.
Total trade in real terms is forecast to grow 1.5% in 2017, with imports increasing by 2.1% and exportsby 1.5%.
