Mexico Freight Transport and Shipping Report Q2 2018
We do not expect the NAFTA renegotiations currently under way to threaten Mexico's preferential trade status with theUS, its largest trade partner, and that forms the basis of our positive trade outlook for Mexico. US demand for Mexican exports willunderpin robust growth in manufacturing. We also expect higher oil production from 2018 and this will bode well for bulk freightmodes like rail and shipping. Lower inflation and currency appreciation will be the underlying factors supporting privateconsumption growth, which will subsequently support growth across all freight modes.
