Malaysia Infrastructure Q1 2020

Malaysia Infrastructure Q1 2020

Key View:

Malaysia's construction sector will experience slow growth of 1.1% in real terms in 2019. In the longer term, we forecastgrowth to average 3.5% per annum through 2028. Project suspensions and a slowing building sector will be a drag on short-termgrowth. The revival of projects presents an upside risk to our forecasts, and the completion of these projects will be a boon to thebuildings sector.
