The tourism industry in Lithuania continues to offer considerable growth potential. Awareness of its main attractions ison the rise, supported by effective marketing campaigns targeting both key regional markets (such as Germany and the UK) andsource markets further afield in the fast-growing and affluent Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. Transport connections, thoughstill somewhat limited for visitors from outside Europe, are also improving and the government continues to invest in newdevelopments, often with the backing of regional funding aimed at strengthening cross-border connections. Overall we anticipatesolid growth in the tourism industry and while this will remain one of the smaller markets in the region, Lithuania nonethelessremains an attractive investment destination.
