Lithuania Autos Report 2016

BMI View: We believe that the combination of a strengthening economy and greater demand for passengercars will lead to further growth in the Lithuanian new vehicle sales market in 2016. We are targeting over11% growth for the sector as a whole, with passenger cars set to outperform commercial vehicles.

Commercial vehicle sales (notably HCVs) have been outperforming those of commercial vehicles against asluggish macroeconomic backdrop in 2015.

For 2016, we expect a reversal of this situation, with passenger car sales set to outperform commercial vehicles, asthe economy strengthens and customers continue to benefit from low auto financing rates.

Used cars continue to account for the lion's share of cars purchased within Lithuania.
