The Kosovan telecommunications market offers restricted opportunities for prospective and existing investors alike. Thesmall and declining wireline voice sector only shows growth in the business segment. Fixed broadband services are slowly growingand two alternative players lead the market; the much needed privatisation of the incumbent would boost fixed sector investment.The mobile market is a little more competitive, but with one MVNO having expired, investors are advised to look for better growthopportunities elsewhere. Telekom Slovenije is selling the second-ranked IPKO, an indication of market fatigue. 4G expansionprovides the only real growth momentum with operators seeking to grow mobile data usage to offset declines from traditional voiceservices.
