Indonesia's tourism industry will see substantial growth in the medium term due to the country's range of attractionsacross the archipelago and improving transport connections to regional and global source markets. Government support in theform of marketing campaigns, a relaxation of visa regulations and transport infrastructure investment are yielding tangible benefitsand the country is attracting rising numbers of visitors from diversified source markets, although the Asian market will continue todominate. Key downside risks to our outlook include potential challenges such as pertinent domestic security concerns,environmental risks, pre-existing infrastructure gaps in less popular areas and limitations in the labour market.
