Indonesia's power sector will grow rapidly over the coming years, as large-scale power projects are graduallycommissioned, primarily across the coal and geothermal sectors. That said, risks to project delivery remain high and financing,political and bureaucratic issues have left many ‘priority projects’ delayed or cancelled, a problem that is likely to be exacerbated bythe upcoming election. Overall, we do not expect the government's power capacity plans to be met in full, despite strong growth.
