Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria are frontier markets that all have considerable device spending growth potential as a result oflow penetration rates in all major device categories that are far lower than developed and emerging markets. Performance was weakover 2014-2016 owing to low commodity prices and local currency depreciation, but we envisage a stronger trend over themedium term as vendors tap into pent-up demand and rising incomes with support from demographics. Growth prospects out to2022 will be further driven by solid economic modernisation efforts in all three markets and the steady increase in enterprisedemand for AV and PC hardware solutions.
