Finland Renewables Q2 2018
BMI View: Finland's non-hydropower renewables market is forecast to see steady yet slowing growth in its capacity additions over the coming ten years. The country's premature termination of its feed-in tariff scheme in 2017 and additional nuclear capacity entering in 2020 undermine incentives for new projects and therefore stronger growth levels from 2020 onwards. The country's emission reduction obligations for 2030 that led to its planned complete coal phase out by then might provide new impetus for growth.
