We have significantly downgraded Denmark's crude oil and gas production outlook this quarter after taking out the Hejre field from our field by field production timeline. A key tax agreement will likely see the Tyra redevelopment programme go through. This is excellent news for the country's gas production outlook given the Tyra fields and facilities are the largest in Denmark, processing 90% of produced gas. As such, its status as a net gas exporter should be maintained to 2026.

In February 2017 it was reported that Royal Dutch Shell is seeking to sell its stake in the Danish Undergrund Consortium (DUC), the offshore oil and gas joint venture, in what would mark the company's effective exit from Denmark. Shell's 36.8% stake is worth about USD1bn.
