Denmark Insurance Report Q4 2017
The outlook remains positive for Denmark's well-developed insurance market. The country ishome to a competitive life insurance market where many providers are recording growth despite achallenging investment outlook in an environment of persisting negative interest rates. In the smaller nonlifesector, health insurance is proving the outperformer and strong growth in this line will offset slowergrowth in motor and property insurance where competition keeps downwards pressure on pricing. Both thelife and non-life sectors are dominated by large domestic firms and some key Nordic players and there islittle room for new entrants to the market, despite the attractiveness of a well-regulated market supportedby high employment and income levels.
